As a student of photography, Adam found inspiration in the photography of Ansel Adams, Irvin Penn, Chuck Close and Cindy Sherman. He graduated from New York University with a BFA in photography. Drawn to the bright simplicity of Dutch graphic design, Adam moved to The Netherlands and began his career as a photographer. Shifting specialties from portraiture to still life, Adam discovered beauty in the simple and mundane - a bubble, a refraction of light or a shadow. He embraced photography’s ability to capture and enlarge a moment for further examination. Moving to Paris to open a photo studio, Adam embarked upon a successful career in table-top still life photography working with many high-end luxury brands in fashion, cosmetics, jewelry and liquids-in-motion. He also realize movies for advertising. As a bi-national Adam divides his time between Paris and New York and considers both as home
